Sounds like a "happy end" story...

Well... I had to go to TA in Dallas at 2 am to get trailer tire fixed... And as I suspected, the waiting time was 4 to 5 hrs....
And as I had planned, parked at one of the fuel bays, next to another truck that was parked at another fuel bay... driver was taking her (yes, it was a lady) sleep break... Good thing there were plenty of other empty bays and not many trucks fueling.... so we were not in anybody's way...
Didn't sleep much though... spent about 3 hrs checking lots of inns and hotels where I have been planning to stay in up north Rio... nothing cheap at all and the rooms are soooo incredibly small... one couldn't put two regular size Americans in there...
At 7 am was called to bring truck to shop and it took them 30 mins to patch the hole and cost $50.94...
Got to co. terminal in OKC at 11:39 am and other driver took the trailer...
Now parked here at Pilot with no trailer...
Gotta wait till Monday when folks get back to co. and will have truck PM...
If anybody is in this area and can stop buy to say "hi", I'll pay you coffee or any drink of your preference...

... I think they were "parked" for a few hrs... several empty bays and nothing going on...

Was getting worse, I guess I got through just in time, heard 80's closed not sure specifics....

I hit elk mountain around 9 or 10, had to swap trailers in Cheyenne, only 2 hours left so figure I just stay...may not get out of here til morning..

10/4... I guess my dsp will ask me if I want to leave truck at terminal and head to TN for my trip abroad... but I am just not ready yet... Still quite some things to check and decide... besides, I don't want to arrive in Brasil in the middle of Carnaval (that's how Brazilians call it)... most folks travel and nothing really works there till it's over at the end of February... besides hotels, cabs, etc, etc get very expensive...FatDaddy Thanks this.
