Rocks I wish you the best.
I hope you enjoy your trip.
You are one of my favorite people. You have come a long way on your journey as a truck driver. I have followed you from the beginning. You are now much more confident. I am so proud of you.
The time I was fortunate enough to meet you in Seymour, In. will always be a good memory for me. It is hard to believe that visit was 5 years ago.
I wish you well.

Brazilian coffee is SOOOO strong that one wouldn't like to have a big cup of it... And to put water in it just "ruins" the flavor...

Someone here in the USA asked me to bring him a Whiskey "shot glass".... and I was thinking... hmmm.... Since Brazilians don't use Whiskey "shot glasses", I might get him a little coffee mug instead... Coffee is the most popular drink in Brasil... it's considered to be a "trademark" in that country...
Well... I might as well get him a cachaça glass...

Cachaça is an EXTREMELY strong alcoholic beverage... as strong as Tequila...
It's clear color, made from sugar cane... It's very popular in Brasil and also a "trademark"...
Folks drink that in small glasses and sometimes mix it with crushed ice, lime and sugar... that's what they call "caipirinha"... the Brazilian national drink...

Oohh....
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH MY FRIEND!!!
Your kind words are like a nice song to me... I REALLY appreciate that...
I will always remember our meeting at that TA on a dark and cold winter day... It was very nice to meet you too...
I have high regard for you and deep respect and wish you all the best too... to you and all your family...
ampm wayne Thanks this. -
A big mug of that stuff would have you wired for days. I'd get about 3 out of the vending machine in the office first thing and not get up from my desk until lunch.
I vaguely remember a few dinner outings that involved the caipirinha cart rolling out. With a group, the bartender will bring out all the ingredients out on a small cart and make the drinks tableside. For a rowdy group, a busboy is employed to keep the supplies replenished. At one place, we actually cleaned out their supply of cachaça.
A little trivia for those that haven't heard much Portuguese - the letter "c" with a tail is pronounced like an "s". Also most words with the letter "t" are pronounced like "ch." After about a dozen caipirinhas, you start speaking Portuguese as a side effect.
That right there is funny. I guess it starts with playing with tonka trucks in the mud while eating, then moving up to the real ones once you acquire a taste for dirt. -
