Lol. I had the same problem when I got hired at Munoz and was issued my first truck.
It's a nice setup but the cables are notorious for coming loose Fortunately the latches are easy to reach through the wheel well if the release stops working

Got the K Dubya out the shop. Boy of boy didn't know how fast I got use to that clutch until I was trying to press it on the KW. Shoot even took me awhile to figure out where stuff was. My baby didn't like I was in another truck, but she warmed up to me after awhile. Mt. Pleasant TX smelling chickens. We back quiet.

Stopped here at the Loves in Benson, AZ and witnessed an attempted hit and run backing accident. I say attempted as the driver of the hit truck and I were able to flag down an Arizona highway patrolman who was going to do a pass through the parking lot. Got the guy stopped. Evidence was still on the back of the trailer. The offending driver and the hit driver worked out a deal among themselves. The patrolman was pretty cool about everything.

Had some issues with the computer, so I've been out a few days. Was able to get it back from the shop as I swung through Sacramento today. Headed south to the ports and then across to TX.

Sitting in De Queen AR waiting for some Chickens. Taking them to the yard in Greeley. So I get to stop by the house for a few hours. Then I pick up a load and take it to Omaha, but it doesn't deliver till Tuesday morning. Not really understanding that load, but it does put me near Grand Island maybe I can snag a Texas load that will get me right thru the house again. My regular fleet manager's wife has been sick so he's been there off and on and so has my miles, but it's all good. You take the good. You take the bad, You take them both and their you have the facts of life. The facts of life.
Low miles but through the house a few times a week. I can do that. Low miles and I don't see the house. Houston!! We got a problem!! -
Well, here we are again! Sitting at Gills Onions in Oxnard, Ca waiting on one measly pallet to get ready. Then off to Yuma to finish 'er out. Watch everybody between there and ATL. Gonna be a long ride. Y'all keep the shiny side up and out of the ditches!
Dinomite Thanks this. -
Benson, AZ to Merkel, TX with a short layover in El Paso to drop the inbound and pick this one up headed for Mebane, NC plus a quick and painless PM service at the shop. Carlos Munoz, the owners brother, insisted and you don't argue with him, lmao. Parked at the Big Country Truck Stop at exit 270. Good little restaurant but it's not 24 hours. Warming up two McRib sandwiches from Walmart for dinner. I'm one tired mothertrucker, lol.

Well we are on our loop again... With a stop at the yard near Stockton, CA for a trailer light and tire... 99-58-40 all the way to ATL, GA!! See ya' as we roll by! Because of the needed stop at the yard, there won't be any stopping and playing on the way... Sigh... Hate it when we don't have cush time!!
