Goes to or comes from?
Well I didn’t think of that but normally for that time period vehicle the DLR come from a small resistor unit that lowers the voltage to the headlights.

The headlights are aftermarket. They use bulbs though. So what's the fix? Jack the radiator cap up?
-
Is it a Canadian truck or do you go to Canada at all?? Do the headlights come on when you release the parking brake?AModelCat Thanks this.

To my knowledge it's an American truck. No headlights, but running lights. I think those are on all the time though.

Yeah, the radiator cap sounds like a reasonable approach considering the responses to your question.
Pop off the radiator cap, wrap your lips around the neck and suck hard. -
It's a saying for getting a new truck. You jack the radiator cap up and drive a new truck under it. I mean we're just talking about CB noise.

Maybe the applied brake drums/discs are providing some system RF bonding of the "ground plane", which is reduced when they are released?
