2001 freightliner century buzzer stays on and glitches on and off while the parking brake is disengaged. The buzzer is not heard during start up and heard after driving for a while and parking it and disengaging the air parking brake yellow knob. Why would it tell me that the brake is on when its safely on park? Is it the parking light kick off switch?

Sounds like it could be the parking brake air switch.
Mike250rs Thanks this. -
Need parking brake switch. Middle of dash under cup holder manifold mounted right on fire wall

I have the same problem. I got two switches from Freightliner and there is a bunch of sensors and can’t tell where they go. I have a 98 century

Found the culprit on my 2007 Freightliner Century Class. Same problem, Warning light and buzzer that parking brake was still on when rolling fine( other than that annoying buzzer I also located and ripped its little guts out with a Phillips head screw driver half crazed after listening to it for days).
$11.26 at the dealer for part number FSC/2749-2108 - Pressure switch , located behind panel in front of shifter and under cup holder.... was the one on the black plastic line of the panel on my truck.
