Parking break ?

How do you do that by accident?
And, wouldn't you have to pull it out? Pushing it in releases the BRAKES.

 

I think you might break something.

Ive kinda wondered that cuz when i kick off my flip flops and put my foot on the dash i get close the the hand brake when i bring it back down. Also when im looking at my phone and its plugged in the cord gets close sometimes. LOL.

Nothing, it would already be in so you could be doing 55. If you mean what would happen if you applied your parking brake at 55 mph, nothing more than a hard brake event. The air would exhaust rapidly from the brake chamber causing the spring brakes to apply, most likely resulting in a skid, flat spot on your tires, and a panic stop without applying brake lights which could cause a rear end collision.

 

And if you are hauling flat deck with insufficient straps/chains, load shift potentially causing a fatal collision with the cab.

 

I've pulled the blue knob out once or twice because my brake pedal was seized. Only doing about 30 km/h (I was on my own property, had to move the truck across the yard to the shop to fix it) All 8 drives will come to a halt and you'll probably lose control.

 

Your tandem tires would finally start turning lol. Hopefully your tires aren't on fire from doing 55 with the breaks engaged lol
