hmmm i never ragged on him either nana---i think that sore arm has gooten you cranky
-
I really still do not care.
If you are longer or whatever, deal with it.
If you do not like how they park next to you, ask them to move.
Not hard to do, open door, walk over, and politely ask them to move.
I am actually a courteous driver. I back my truck in based on where it ends. I do not care about the driver next door.
I am mature and not a whiner.
Post the name of your company and truck number and I will make sure to be the non courteous driver you think I am. Instead of leaving a space where a truck cannot fit, I will park close and squeeze you and park to make it difficult instead of the leaving much room. -
actually if he has a long wheel base--i would be sure to pull in as far as i can --to make it easier for him to get out---also that way his also the first one to get hit by somebody else
brsims Thanks this. -
You think so? How about this: I posted my comment in post #12 and you posted yours in post #13. Now explain to me why you're claiming my post was criticizing yours.
I wasn't cranky but I'm now getting there. -
actually my post was #7--but who is counting
-
OH, just vent instead of bickering! What's your pet peeve?
-
I could not agree more as that is what has happened more than a few times. Not being a smoker,I despise cig smoke coming into my truck as i am parked, window to window through no fault of my own.
The flip side of the coin is common courtesy- there is no need to line up exactly.Staggering the trucks a bit just seems to create more personal space while out on the road and more personal space is what i seek after a long day of driving.
I am elated to have posted such a thought provoking topic as that was my intention.Perhaps even those that espouse differing opinions will indeed think about this post the next time they are parking and offer a little bit more privacy for themselves as well as the discerning driver such as myself.fr8monkey Thanks this. -
You and I are counting. LOL
And my sincere apologies: I never saw that post. I tend to use the back button and sometimes it causes me to miss posts. I should have looked closer. I'd not have expected you to rag on him anyway...you don't do that stuff. -
ok my vent is all the new drivers that complain about their company equipment ---having to drive an old pos from 2007--hauling an 05 trailer---cmon really ?????
one of the best looking ,best running trucks i drove had 1 million on it--when they got rid of it--i liked the new truck well enough--but it sure wasnt like my old girl--it was soo comfy- some of the trailers i pulled were also around 15/18 yrs old--some looked like new--some had war wounds--but they did the job
