Yeah I had a neighbor who complained to my company first about me parking in my driveway. Found out it was a retired truck driver ! who lived 2 blocks away ! I got around it because there was no ordinance prohibiting parking in your driveway, only in the street. It cracked me up when my neighbor across the street was moving and he used ABF who dropped a pup in front of his house for 2 days while he loaded it. All my other neighbors thought it was my trailer I was dropping while I was bobtailed in my driveway .Sure, a Henderson power unit pulling an ABF pup and home for the weekend.

wash it/clean the inside
Keep it plugged in (in colder climates)
Keep an eye on it (as opposed to a walmart lot miles away)
Do detailed inspections and/or repairs in a non-rushed manner
Let the neighboring kids sit in the driver seat and wiggle the wheel!

just bring the tractor home let it idle all night in your driveway and you will find out real soon if your neighbors are cool or not

In most cases you can park in your driveway. There should be a sign posted that says no trucks allowed.
On an off topic. Have you ever wondered if you are on a street where trucks are allowed or not? You can see where the trucks have knocked all the limbs down over the years. Like that Japanese art bonsi or something.
