Please, how many truck stops for the majority of your driving career up until the past couple of years had pay to park? 0.... I never said anything about anyone being broke I said people not making much money

I do believe eventually it will all become paid parking. You can already see it happening at some of the T/As where they have large sections devoted to paid parking. In a few more years I bet you won't be able to park anywhere at a T/A without paying for it in some way.

Actually pay to park was a lot more ccccommon few years back, broke or not making much money it the same for all practice purposesspyder7723 and Raiderfanatic Thank this.

I remember both the New Jersey TA truck stops on 80 and 78 were pay to park.Raiderfanatic Thanks this.

The Detroiter was pay to park before Pilot took it over. So was the Gary, IN TA.

Not sure what happened at the Minooka Pilot, but the spaces out from the fuel island are now restricted with no parking allowed in those spots from 3 to 4 pm. I didn't ask what they were up to otherwise. One Prime reefer was parked in those spots the next morning.
