Disgusting! It is tolerable in some situations, but absolutely never, ever when even 1 truck is blocked. This sort of parking states of what kind of person drives that truck. Lazy, irresponsible to say the least. I don't have a problem to bang on their door and tell them with my teeth grinding "Get the ff..out!" Literally.

    Pitiful shame.

I will nose in if there is ample room to safely back out. Only after a bad day of 11 hours, of driving. Due to being tired and it being safer for everyone if I don't use reverse...

Avoid parking inbetween 2 reefer units like I parked few days ago.If only those things ran simultaneously but they were taking turns. When one stopped the other started!I was tired and when I realized what's going on I thought "F it!" but it wasn't a good night.

Are you going to pay for the repairs to my truck? Are you going to pay for my downtime while those repairs are made? Are you going to pay for the tow? The motel room? The rental car to get me home and back to the truck?

    No?

Well then don't worry about how I park, as it is none of your concern.

If everybody out here was a professional, and people didn't go around tearing the noses off parked trucks, and if when they DID occasionally screw up they stuck around and owned up to that fact taking responsibility for (and compensating the injured party for the damages), then it wouldn't be that big of a deal.

That ain't the world we live in. So I do what is necessary to protect what I have. Again, when YOU own the truck I'm driving, and YOU are the one paying for the repairs, and YOU are the one compensating me for the downtime, motel, etc., and YOU are the one fighting with the "other person's" insurance company for reimbursement (IF they bothered to stop)...then and ONLY then will I care what you think.

What I find funny is that many including my truck owner brag on the truck stops they use. I have yet to stay in one. I get what I need and leave.

I happened to be at the flying hook in Billings last night and I should stop by for the show more often. They would circle until they gounf the spot closest to the building. Instead ot taking one of the easy pull through spots they had to be closer to the building. It was really quite comical.

Meh, that's not new. The old hands just want to pretend it is.
Same thing you see at a grocery store.... the mall.... the big box hardware store... Church.... a doctors office....
I personally have no issue hoofing it. I'm spry and my shoes are comfortable... unlike flip-flops. And it can be interesting to watch some of the lunacy from the back - out of harms way. Haha.
