Parking truck

    can I buy my truck and trailer and just park it for a few months without putting insurance on anything until I’m ready to role? What about things such as thief etc doubt it but still

    I guess if you own both outright with no loans then you can let them sit as lawn ornaments.

    Trucks don't like to sit for long periods. Things tend to go wrong down the road.

    Not according to the other thread on here.

    Trucks can sit for 30 years and still fire right up and go to work.

    Just start it and move it around at least once a month and it should be OK..Maybe put it in a Secured Lot...

    Agreeing with both statements. I just bought a truck that only did 30k miles in 15 years. From sitting all the parts with rubber got bad and bunch of seals did too. After replacing pretty much everything on the suspension (did not get to engine seals yet) I started it up and put it to work.
    So yeah, the truck will run after sitting for a while, but it will need a lot of repairs to be really road ready

    If you can afford to let the unit sit, then you can afford a little insurance to protect it
