No thanks. When bobtail and I make a spot... Well if some Swiftie rips my hood off I now have a preventable on my record. No thanks
Sure I'll try and find a non-trailer spot, but I'm not going to be trespassing by parking in the car area, nor am I going to risk getting my hood pulled off by some idiot that can't drive.
Parking when bobtail.

I don't know. But by the looks of the packed parking lot and the way they were kind of in the middle of the spot I kind of doubt it. And I appreciate everyone that does try to be courteous. I would try my best to be.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

I say we all get together and "egg" bobtails tonight, that are taking up full size spaces !!! Let's all do it at exactly midnight

Read his whole statement... He very was very thorough and concise about why it would be a preventable....
Comprehension, it's a terrible thing to waste.Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -

I see half a dozen bobtails in the auto section of my pilot. Out of the way and they dont take up a full spot in back.
Another Canadian driver, BigBob410 and QuietStorm Thank this. -
Well.. some truckstops don't have bobtail parking.
I am pretty perverse in my thinking, I always fit my bobtail in a normal car spot in front of the resturant with all the wheels one inch from the painted lines all around. They really hate that. It rubs them wrong. But it's parked proper. he he he.
As far as the full pull throughs, I'll take one of them just the same. Another bobtail can pull in and then back out behind mine if he wants. You can fit 4 bobtails in there. Maybe 6 or more if they are running together on two of those spaces. Or a camper short can pull in behind me. It does not bother me. But I do not make a habit of taking a full 18 wheeler space with just a bobtail if I have a car parking spot I can fit into instead. Or a bullpen with other bobtails on the grass or whatever.Another Canadian driver and BigBob410 Thank this. -
Park your bobtail in the car section of the Loves just north of Jacksonville, FL and see what happens
Another Canadian driver Thanks this.
