When we lived in our old home we had land enough to put a big rig into and park on. The problem with that land was clay in the ground. Gets you good and stuck when wet.
We laid down gravel yea deep and spread it. Enough to hold a hobtail in the rain. Main drive could take a full 18 wheeler if that. But not ideal. The current owners improved on that gravel and put whatever they want on it that supports their company. But it's about 100 feet, 20 wide and 4 deep so that gives you a idea of how much stone it takes. There was also a french drain built under it down as far as the backhoe can dig and just as long.
If you get stuck, Captain hook is your problem.
The big thing is the neighbors. They understand what we are. However when you get moving, sometimes we pull up on batteries alittle bit in low before cranking near the street to fire that thing like at 2 am on a monday, people need to work and sleep. So straight pipe is out etc. -
I park my truck at the pilot in new Braunfels. Even left for a week when I went on vacation. You shouldn't have too much trouble parking in San Antonio. You do have 4 truck stops off I10

Most of the time you can rent a spot for a few days.
If you leave it at a truck stop for over a couple days, get their permission.Wasted Thyme Thanks this. -
OP send me a private message, I can hook you up with private, secure parking.

Tow truck yards, self-storage & RV parking yards are good places to park trucks. Truck stops are too unreliablen crowded. I also wouldn't sneak the truck behind some business as you never know ifvthey will boot it or tow it. I prefer the truck be parked at a company yard so they can do maintenance andvthey are responsible for it when you are home.
alds Thanks this. -
If you park at truck stop, DO NOT have mama pull up while you unload suitcase and dirty laundry in to the car. Someone will notice and rob your truck while you're home.
tscottme and Brandon Marr Thank this. -
Have you thought about working 4 a trucking company in your area.San Antonio is a pretty decent size town you think they would have several options. like in my area there is a lot of companies but someone will take a job from a company 1000 miles away and no terminal mere by then end up just parking anywhere they happen up on.
