no, the real challenge is being parked and watching both of them park on either side of you without tearing a hood or fender off the truck.

Yes- unfortunately, some people view your offer to help as a nasty jab at their skills (or lack thereof). A person like you described sometimes feels that to be offered help has caused them somehow to lose face and look inadequate. There are all kinds out there- but don't let that stop you from being ready to lend a hand. We are all in this together, and everybody (no matter how experienced or inexperienced) needs a little help sometimes. Times have changed... It used to be that a truckers were always there for each other in a pinch. We can't let the old school ways die just because others behave badly. That would just make our image worse and perpetuate what is getting to be a very real problem with attitude and professionality out there. Kudos for offering to help that guy! That's how it should be! Let's show those boneheads what trucking is supposed to be! WOOHOO!!!! I LOVE WHAT I DO!

Yeah for sure.i really enjoy helping anywhere I go. I help folks broke down, struggling to get backed in,and once I had to pull a guy from his car bc he was in shock bc he hydroplaned and I was headed right for him, scared him to death...short of it I slowly veered and missed then stopped to get him off I-95 ,he just stared at me and wouldn't move. Poor bugger. Then once iRichmond 2 young girls were struck by a str8 truck and kind of did a pit maneuver and it turned there car around heading str8 for the front grill of my rig,I seen it happen and was able to slow and then blocked traffic from being able to hit them, got out and the 2girls AGAIN just stared at me,so put their car in neutral and pushed them out of the hwy. I guess folks get real scared when they see the front of a rig coming AT them that they just passed...lol.

WOW! Yeah, 70 feet of metal coming at someone is a little unnerving! LOL! Keep up the good work- I wish more drivers these days were willing to help (or at the very least cause no harm).
