When I run stretched, I’m not going anywhere near a truck stop to park. Let alone getting fuel. Here’s the last one I did, I was 82’ over all. Try backing that up! 1A0E3C60-E23C-497D-A081-3AE3FA620637.jpeg 76A2A377-90D8-4BDC-AF6A-D8E0B2DCE0C5.jpeg

Meh, had to back these into nearly finished buildings more often than i care to remember

3rd one was the longest i did, 132.5 nose to tail if i remember correctly, 90 foot stretch, so my 3 to 4 distance should have been near 80 foot. Had to jack it around and back into a building too, at least the bay door was 80 foot wide (airplane hangar), but only about a 15 foot section where they had it built up to let me get onto the concrete.

And wrlldigger, im not saying its easy , certainly with 3 and 4 traileraxles its way harder even with a shorter wheelbase. But length alone isnt what makes backung difficult

It will take a couple months until you get more used with the truck. I was the same when I first started driving a semi truck. First 3 or 4 months i`ve never parked in a parking spot. It was either a rest area, hwy exit ramp on shoulder or truck stops near the scales or curb. If you don`t feel confident or you are too tired, don`t do it. I`ve never had a problem in 8 years parking like that. I`ve seen so many accidents at the truckstops and it`s not worth it.

You’re a better man than I for sure. And based on your grammar, you’ve got a better buzz going than I do as well…
