Alot of times im the same way.
One guy suggested i go pull the 5th handle.
But like i said, most of us are professionals.
Wouldn't look good to lower my self to her level.
Im glad i stayed clam, cause she did call in on me, even thoug she had not valid reason to. Plus i had the store manager and two cashiers who saw it all.

    NavigatorWife Thanks this.

Funny thing is when I was in school, our instructor would make us park at the pump when we were taking a break at the Petro in LV. He actually made one of
us back up because the student started pulling to the holding spot. Said "this way no one gets behind us and get's pissed waiting".
When I started training with my company, my trainer nearly tore my ear off when I told him this.

Yeah, pull the 5th wheel so that trailer can get dropped right in front of you. Doesn't sound smart to me.

And I wouldn't have kept my cool as the OP did. Personally, I would have called for a wrecker to tow that truck out of the fuel island. Don't wanna move your truck? Fine.... I'll just have it moved for you.

Yeah, pull that fifth wheel release then take your forefinger and dab a little grease off the front of your trailer and then put that greasie on the underside of their door handle and then prepare to lyao. Lol. Sorry, I was just kidding. Lol

Being the kindler gentler grandfather I am today--I react slightly differently--although harming the truck in any way--would just make it worse--since you #### sure aint gettin outta there if they can't---but I do carry a bag full of those big steel bolt seals the containers use--and have been know to put em on both your trailer doors--just to make your life a little more miserable when you get where your going--Oh and I can promise you if your load has a regular seal--bet your ### I'm tearing that off--but chances are I won't spray paint your mirrors with orange locate paint anymore--haven't done that this century :)
