I don't pass often but, if I have a slow truck in front of me I'll go around. I have a limited amount of daylight hours to run. Even less during winter. If I have a crane appt set up I have to get there on time. If a crane is waiting on me it gets expensive fast.

So now this thread is about heavy loads? Good god.

Well no, it's about passing heavy loads!
Both oversized loads were hauling ###, running one after the other about a half mile apart. Escort and high-clearance checking pole for each of them. They were both hauling quite a nice sized building. -
Where?
The only thing I can do to turn those lights off on come of the trucks I drive is to pull the parking brake out.

the prostars have them on the steering wheel. Cascadias don't have DRL. Unless you consider the stupid flashers that stay on when the lights are off DRL.
-
Now were talking about headlights. Wow
-
Wait for it...
Wait for it....
Wait some more for it....
Now let's start talking "why do I see alligators on the road"? -
Too little attention to tire pressures is one reason.

is it Mississippi or Louisiana that has not deer signs but bear signs on the interstate? That tripped me out the first time I saw that. Can't imagine seeing a bear crossing the interstate.
