I had been saying that for years. But these newbies need to be all scientific and such.

What are they gonna do when the aliens land and stop all electronic devices from working?

Like I said, I have not really ever seen a wide load leave the right lane, except for emergencies. If you haul wide, and you pass, congratulations, you're someone's hero.

Oh God... I about #### near tested the durability of my qc for...science purposes...this past week. It wanted me to do a u-turn on a busy highway (No joke and it wasn't a reroute either.), run down a tiny residential street & then make a u-turn back onto the main highway..

If it wasn't so much of a pain in the butt trying to get from one area to the next for those goodyear deliveries I probably would've done that. ...I'm sure when sni asked how my qc got smashed up I could've come up with something good. "Well! The receiver wanted me to chock my wheels! I could've sworn you guys would've tested the durability of those things and surely they could've been used as wheel chocks!"

...actually, there's a few things SNI has "given" me that I'd like to put underneath my tires. You know. For durability purposes. :violent3:

For years, I've been saying that our problem (All of society, not just us.) isn't the technology we use. But our dependence upon it. Give me a map, I'll read the #### thing and plot you a course anywhere you'd like to go.

It's not scientific. It's laziness. I'll admit I'm guilty of it, but I have no problems pulling out the atlas and going from there. My gps stays on mute; I end up screwing up more when it's "telling" me where to go versus me reading it and where I'm at myself. ...plus the #### thing just gets annoying.

I decided the other day that I wanted a 2015 atlas. The girl at the counter stated that mine was the first one they've sold this year. I can remember when if you didn't have yours by middle of Jan. you were Sol.

QC was great when it first came out. It was a way to communicate back in the day of pay phones, as not too many of us had cell phones, or those big bag phones.

Now what happened to our Kelly Bundy thread?

I grabbed the 2015 as soon as I'd noted it came out. November of last year? I think?

If any truck stop does not have a new edition, maybe some can try Amazon?

I should get a newer one, I have a 2004 myself. Small print though, and it sucks!
