The problem is finding a recruiter that gives a crap. Most just act like drones with their, "I'm sorry, but our company policy is blah, blah, blah, blah." I got the luck of the draw when I got Melvin Russell on the other end of the phone. He actually listened to me and when I told him my situation he ran it by his supervisor and she gave the green light. But I really think that, since you already obtained your cdl, you are likely to find a starter job somewhere. If FFE turns you down try Celadon next. They just bought FFE's dry van division to the tune of 430 trailers and 290 tractors. They are surely going to need drivers ASAP because they also got FFE's dry freight customers along with the hardware. I know some of FFE's dry van drivers went over to Celadon with the purchase but not enough to put butts in all those seats. Let me know how it goes.
