Patients insurance canceled

    My guess is that she hit her CAP in that year, and so they decided to tell her to take a hike on the surgery. Just a speculation though.:biggrin_25525:

    Tell that to the family. Aetna was a horrible company to deal with 20 years ago when our company unfortunately had them. They always denied claims and always there leadership took extremely high bonuses at the cost to the insured's coverage or this is the way it appeared to a claim that was denied.

    So she hit her cap (A number she knows up front) so insurance says they won't pay. She wasn't canceled she just has to wait till next year if it was a yearly cap. Not a story.
