Well I'm starting a new journey here. I'm extremely excited. I know this company took a hit a while back, but are doing well now. New pete's and apu's. My background is swift cdl school and mandatory year at swift even though took way longer I would of liked it too sure to guard duty and family stuff. I Did some local work and was in the oilfield till recently when oil prices fell forcing me to look somewhere else. I'm from oklahoma and Paul Inc. Is out of tulsa so hometime won't be an issue. I have some flatbed experience, but not otr, mainly pulling chemical totes and some other stuff that required straps only around OK. Im in no way experienced and i'm not sure how that's going to work out with Paul Inc., i dont know if i have to go with a trainer or are they going to let me go out on my own with the orientation training. I'm going to request additional training at orientation if possible since I've never tarped or used chains to secure freight. I was seeing if there were any Paul drivers here to talk to and also going to post my experiences. Will also answer any questions regarding the company for interested drivers.

Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

I have been eyeballing them also, very little information about them out there, at least none that is recent. Keep us posted on how things are going. The one ad that I have been seeing is a run to Seattle. Is that what you'll be doing or don't you know yet? Good luck and like I said keep us posted as to your adventures.

Yes I requested it and the recruiter told me it's not really a dedicated account per say, more like a set number of loads they need to deliver to WA and you can choose to take one by asking your DM. Monday I'll know alot more.

Correction to my first post they are new KW's midroofs, super single tires, apu's, tire monitoring system, and Qualcomm. First day down can't tell you how impressed I am with the overall atmosphere and equipment.
Toolmantaylor Thanks this. -
Orientation is done, get truck in the morning. I just wanted to add they have a great student training program that is way better than alot of other companies. Especially the pay for students compared to what I received at Swift.

Thanks for the info, keep it coming.

How goes the battle?

Got truck Thursday afternoon. had some issues with the APU and Qualcomm so got them fixed Friday. Got my first load today. Its a 47k load of wall board. The freaking wind was blowing like crazy so the pretarped load ended up being me restrapping and edge protecting the load. Talk about a pain with 40 mph gusts. Deliver in the am.

Still going good? Seeing lots of ads for Paul trans. Are you getting miles?how are you liking flatbed?
Jimbo56 Thanks this. -
miles are there. They will run you tired. Lol. Flatbedding is Definitely not for everyone. I like it. It's a learning experience everyday for me. One thing I just learned is they have forced per diem, never was mentioned before but was on pay stub as xx amount of cents of the total cpm.
