I don't think they require team out of Tontitown. I had a student out of Rogers a few months back and he was promised solo.

Cool, thanks for the heads up. They called me up yesterday morning to check with me about some of my previous employment so they could finish processing my app. I got that all squared away, and they said they would be passing the app on to the recruiter.

Best of luck. They'll probably send you to school in Little Rock. Just pray they don't make you go to Fort Worth. Keep us posted and if you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
-
I hope they don't plan on sending me to school period, as I've got my CDL, and I have experience in the industry. But then again, I've been off the road for about 3 years now, so they just might.

With 3 years not driving, they have to send you to school. It sucks, but that's how it is.
-
Well, looks like it's a no-go. Just got off the phone with them, and an accident I had 3 years ago disqualified me. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

From what I understand, ALL new-hire (student) drivers will be teams for 6 mos. There can be some exceptions (like not finding someone within 50 miles of your home). IF you are running solo for a period while awaiting your co-driver, you will get paid .25/mile.

What is wrong with the school in Fort Worth?
