Pay for Werner Northeast Regional?

    if your mind is with werner try getting the sears dedicated out of gouldsboro,pa good pay home by friday night and the have a drop yard in maywood,nj i was taking home 600 to 700 a week if it wasnt because i took a intermodal position with jb(then became an o/o) i would still be there

    I've noticed dedicated account drivers are generally happier than OTR drivers, probably cause they get home more and loads are consistant. Get familiar with same loads, same routes, see your dispatcher face to face, etc. Generally pay can be higher too but not always. Its a big difference being able to go home every weekend and possibly every day for your break if you live close enough to a dedicated DC.

    Yes, I ended up going with Werner and I am out right now doing a refresher with a trainer for 100 hours.

    So far, so good. The pay is gonna depend on experience and which account that you run. I've heard some people say 0.25/mile and some up to 0.40/mile. I'm at 0.35 because of some prior experience, but while I'm doing the refresher, it's $450/week. I'm thinking of teaming with a friend and we were told that if we did that, they will pay 0.40/mile split.
