Over 5yrs they pay 40cpm and majority of trucks don't have APU's Why is an APU important? They do I Great health insurance.

brcause of 2 things.i prefer to carry my microwave, grill, and toaster oven and toaster oven to save money and to eat better and follow a diet.2nd,more areas are forming there own police who's only mission is to enforce anti-idling laws,i've actually witnessed it twice in hunt's point n.y. and in socal.

I also have a microwave and a electric burner. I just keep my truck running. Oh as far as huntspoint if you don't want to do NY you don't have too. All the trucks are 2009 or newer and are California certifed clean. OH and if you were going to respond to that you can always carry a pair of jumper cables and power off the refer unit. But Why?? I've been all over and never once did I see anyone (in older trucks) get a ticket. That is an urban myth. Don't believe me... go to any truckstop and you'll find lots of trucks Idleing.

I bet if you look into what trucks were ticketed they would not have the Calif.Clean air sticker. I'm Sittin in my truck now and its running. If you go into any truckstop you'll find most trucks idleing. Also we run 2009 and newer trucks. you really liked my " urban myth" I see.

Most trucks that get speeding tickets a Junkee older trucks. oh before you fact find that one It is what I have seen anyways.:biggrin_25514:

I asked the eforcement officer he said only older trucks that dont have California certified clean engine sticker.so only old junk gets a ticket.newer trucks can idle all. Night & day .

The Cali sticker will not help you in new York as they go by weight of equipment. Idle there with the cop setting there and you will get a ticket even with the Cali clean air sticker. The clean air idle only works in some states not all so better check your laws before tell someone the wrong info. Also jbs will not pay for the idle ticket if you get one in hunts point.
