If you can get the product from point a to point b on time and without destroying it you will get more miles, especially in this economy. If you want to be a successful truck driver here is the trick, dont stop too often during your day, keep moving. Take "your" time at the end of your day. IF you need to move 600 mile today do it first, set up for the next day and if you were efficient you will have a 12-14 hour break instead of a 10 hour break. If you screw around in the middle of your day you are setting yourself up for failure.

Do your job well and good things will happen. You become valued and there are some really nice paying gigs out there for valuable drivers. Just a complainer? The rates are always going to be low for you. Why would a company pay you a bunch just to hear you ##### and moan?

    Dscottw Thanks this.
