Buddy, hang in there, pay your dues and move on. Find a smaller company closer to wherever you want to be and hire on with them. Smaller operations tend to pay better and it's much easier to stand out.
sealevel, Vic Firth and Scooter Jones Thank this. -
It is VERY much easy for a new driver to go to the wrong place. Take most any town in the US, go look it up in an atlas. How many times do you see 2-word names? I know of several examples of where the word ridge or springs is added after. Then have some error made in the bills and a poor driver don't have a clue. It has been years and honestly I don't remember the name, but I almost once delivered to a small town near Cleaveland Ohio that was supposed to go to the Cincinnati area. It was only after I got totally lost and called my boss I figured it out. Let's give these new drivers a bit of a break. My own father got Atlanta Texas mixed up with Atlanta Ga. Confusing bills were of no help.
Now I will tell you of something else. I can't tell you the number of times when working local my company sent me to the wrong customer. It does happen. @Chebbydriver7195 I seriously recommend you tough it out!brian991219 Thanks this. -
