If you figure an average of 500 miles per day, I'm averaging about 74cpm.

Not bad. And your point is?? I guess it depends on your total compansation for the year. Your average WM driver will make $80K plus. Many make over $100K. You also get a lot of paid time off at full ADP.

Is it the best truck driving job for everyone.................... no. If you are happy where you are, then stay there. It certainly sounds like it is better than your average truck driving job.

You will never have an extended layover at WM unless you want to, or are sick. The vast majority of the time you are dispatched before you are finished with your last move. Every so often you may have to wait for an hour or so, but it does not happen very often.

I thought the average paycheck was about 8"X3" without the stub.

So, now you are just trying to stir up garbage??

There are drivers working a 5/5, that is 5 days on, 5 days off, making $50-60K............... basically working 1/2 a year. There is no such thing as a full time driver making less than $75K. However, believe what you want, if it makes you feel better.

I'm done with this bait thread

Oh, btw, the top drivers make upwards of $135K a year. Stop reading into what is not said.

Why are you so up tight? Just asking questions. Have a great day. I average .90 a mile as a company driver too. :)

P.s. Walmart did lock up the mandatory e-logs for everyone after that Tracy Morgan crash....? Don't you think?

The driver in the crash was legal under HOS. He was in violation of company policy of not coming to work fully rested and ready to work. Learn the facts, please.
