    Imagine selling a maxxforce truck 2012 for 45k when it's worth 12k

You can't make broad assumptions like that. No two guys are the same. I don't understand how the Volvo guys ran for $1.10/mile for years....but they did and still do. Beats me.

There is a driver in my town selling his 2022 Kenworth t680 with 35k miles on it and a year old utility reefer. Asking price $320k for the setup.

That’s what’s happening too. I passed up a new Trailer for $35k. Now mines worth $16k,not $8k,So I could pay $43k now, it’s a wash. And if I really needed a Trailer, may be willing to pay $48k. Might have to pay $50k? I think Trailers are going to remain high. Even if repo Trucks start piling up. Trailers will still be in high demand. They have a life,10-15 yrs. Existing Trailers are all being worn out now. The backlog on Trailers coupled with a constant demand. I doubt they’ll ever come down much, if any in a few years.

If you’re selling it to Me, I’d say $25k. Anyone else, $50k

New trailers for sure will not go back below $40K.
To me, even at the time I bought mine in December 2016 for $32 000 seemed like a no brainer deal. I would have paid $40K back then too. So much I appreciate easy life with a new trailer where everything works. 5 years later, only $3 000 of total parts and maintenance - brake shoes/drums/brake chambers, and $2800 for another set of tires after 3 years.
Well, now it is hardly new, so...
