I’ve never used QP but you do need to get to a point where you have some money saved up and QP as mentioned might be the answer
You need to live on less until you get to that point then it won’t matter when you get paid as long as you do in fact get paid

We are all out here doing the same thing but some are having a harder or easier time making it than others and that’s evident by the trucks you see rolling down the road.
Some are extremely nice while others are 3 different colors, leaning to one side, and with mismatched worn out tires
The only thing or main thing that separates one from another is who they’re working for and for what rates

Take pride in what you do and don’t let a company or broker pimp you out with low pay
You won’t always have big money loads but you do need to Win more than you Lose and you should be or get to a point that you can turn a load down and leave an area empty
If we all did that in low $ areas then the rates would go up but when they have trucks grabbing a $1.20 load why on earth would they pay the next guy $2.00??

Beaver9, Gsm and Mattflat362 Thank this.

    Still no payment received today.

They didn't respond to my email today as well. And nobody is picking up the phone in accounting.

If you are getting no contact
I would jump on the bond because if everyone chases the bond at the same time someone isn’t getting paid at all

If they told you it was on its way 10 days ago you are probably OK.

    Mail is still a mess.

Naming the broker would probably help. Maybe someone here has had to deal with them before....

    86scotty Thanks this.

    Agree
But that they won’t reply or answer?

A broker shouldn’t be in trouble now. Freight has been good

It's hard to get accounting at most brokerages. You can tell by the wording in rate cons and on the messages that they get pretty sick of people calling to check on payment. I don't care, when I am owed money I hound people until I get answers. They probably directed you to email them, right? So email them about 50 times tomorrow. Email every address you can find on the broker. Squeaky wheel gets the grease.

A coyote check got lost in the mail. I requested another after 40 days, they reissued but it did not arrive until today - 13 days after the request, right when I was going to set up an ACH with them and demand a direct deposit. This is only to show that regular mail may take a moment or two lately and thus some foxy brokerages may effectively use it as an excuse.

Whenever I submit POD/BOL I always include both the broker and the AP/invoices person. Then I save the emails until paid. This makes it easy to forward the email back to them and say whats up!?$

If you don't have payment upon due date call their Payable department, get the name and extension of the person in charge and have them give you the check number. If you don't have a remittance nor a check by the agreed upon date then go to SaferWeb and look the broker up by their MC. Click the Insurance tab and read. There's the name of the surety bond holder and a number.

^^ correct or just ask here of you are not able. I'll look it up.
I have only had to call a brokers insurance agency like twice in 7 years.....once you make that call the agent calls the carrier and says hey dude pay your bills or this cat is going to file on your bond. That puts the fire under their loser butts to pay fast.
