    Green? Ha.

Backing is not a issue, driving will need about 10 miles or so to get the rust off mainly the manual and maybe a day to settle into the routine of driving and sleeper berth. However there has been many changes and a electronic logging to the minute now requiring a different mindset on my part and additional trip planning to accomodate the local parking situation mainly.

Green? Certainly. But for some it's like riding a bike, you never forget.

What exactly is so horrible here?

There's nothing there that should bother you if you're not a steering wheel holder.

Well, I asked, so go ahead and question.

Looks to me like don't screw up their equipment, don't abandon it, and don't get a ticket. Not exactly rocket science.

Btw, us express, not my favorite company by reputation, but that list isn't that objectionable if you want a job.

I am not their insurance company. If I screw up they can fire me not take my pay. If that is a job to you then you do have part of your brain missing bro.

I realize you are new, but that list is fairly standard.

The only joker in the deck is "truck damage due to driver negligence" .

Bad day if you total a $250,000 rig on the first day due to being a fool.

But then again, you did wreck it, fool.

But I wouldn't worry about that, they'll never collect, because you don't have it anyway.

Use them as a stepping stone to something better, or keep looking. Your choice.

    Best of luck.

That is the problem I do have it, I own a house, 401k, great credit and I am not their insurance company. So this is not a job to me.

If this is standard then I'll gladly join the statistics and blow off this scam called trucking.

    Best you do then.

Because you're also risking your life.

    Wrecked truck ain't much bother.

You are the only one here that thinks this is normal. I'd like to think there are legit trucking jobs out there. But if you happen to be right. It is not worth the low pay compared to the risk. Maybe that is why most truckers I have met so far live in poverty.
