PC Miler 450 oddities

Was trying to decide which to getC Miler or RND. The line above in quotes just made my decesion. If it does not do well in my own city, forget it.

 

I have give up using my PC450. I tried to figure out how to update it but can't. I'm willing to pay someone to walk me through updating it if that will help to get it working properly. I'm not sure I'm willing to pay for updates if that's required.

FYI - the CP Central app does not warn you if there are new maps available automatically, so I'm noticing people not realizing that the newest version is 3rd Quarter 2010 for the units.


Tap Menu / Next Page / Settings / Next Page 3 times / About CoPilot.

The current map "Data" and "Cities" line should say ALK.NA.2010.03 in them. That means 3rd Quarter of 2010 maps. If yours doesn't then open your CoPilot Central app (with the unit connected) on the computer and click on maps / North America / Download to get them.

The next update will be "ALK.NA.2010.04" and so forth.
