50% CC ON is threshold for part of our fuel bonus. Harder than you’d think.

I saw some guys were hitting 70% plus and thought, nope, no way. Then realized they kicked it on at a low speed and ran the pedal. Ha!

Asked the equipment guy to correlate trucks with highest mpg and highest CC use. (Nope).

Ck the setting against a GPS.

MOST trucks will show the higher speed (say, 66) when the truck hits 65.5-mph.

    Have shop re-adjust.

It's possible they have not turned up your truck yet. Or when they tried to turn up your truck they didn't save the change before they disconnected.

you need 68 cruise 70 pedal or 65 cruise and 68 pedal. you are asking any driver to worry about passing people playing with the cruise. always pedal the fuel when passing.

I hate the idea of 2 different speeds for cruise and pedal... Both the same speed is as good as it can get IMHO

As far as the OP... Sounds like a programming error

I have 63 pedal, 65 cruise and 67 using PassSmart (also on cruise).
The PassSmart can be used for up to 30 minutes per day. Very nice for getting around slightly slower trucks in a decent amount of time.

Personally, I would not try to pass a truck going 1/2 MPH slower than me without it.
Other drivers however, do pass me at that rate - even if it takes them 10-15 minutes to do it with a very long line of faster traffic in their wake. Then they will cut me off with barely 20 feet of clearance.

I like the option of an extra 2 MPH, but I also see no reason to set the pedal speed slower than the cruise speed.

The only reason i can really come up with for having the speeds set different is that if they are the same some people will just use the floor board as their cruise control.

I know i did when i drove 65-68mph trucks. I never used the cruise. Plant your right foot on the floor and enjoy the ride. Plus you don’t have to mess with taping the brakes and hitting resume and all that mess when you have reason to back out of it.

I find even today, when i’m on cruise i try my hardest not to have to tap the brake and cancel it. It’s the dumbest #### thing honestly. I have no rhyme or reason for it. But i hate having to cancel the cruise. On the flip side if i’m on pedal, i’ll lift my foot without a 2nd thought.
