If they're just walking, no harm no foul as far as I'm concerned.

Now, if they're staggering all over the place, that's a different story as they now pose a potential danger to themselves and others. In that case, a phone call is most definitely warranted.

I dont believe in calling the cops unless its life or death. Some of you guys sound like that nosey old lady that peers out of her blinds all day.

Mind your own buisness and let others mind theirs

I could say the same to all the people telling me and others to quit switching! Lol

Mind your own business, and let us make the decision of how to respond to the situations we see. ;)

. Unless they are going something that is affecting you or look like they need medical attention, leave them alone. Oh.... and don't hit them. :)

I once called in what I suspected to be a drunk driver. It was a red pickup truck that couldn't even keep it in the lane.

5 minutes later, the Calvert County Sheriffs' Dept in MD had the aforementioned truck pulled over.

I was just talking to another driver, and this afternoon driving up i5, someone was walking down the shoulder, and just as he drove past, the guy went into a football crouch and dove under the trailer, and successfully committed suicide by trucker.

Ya, call and report pedestrians on the shoulder, it might have saved 2 lives today.
(the driver is expecting he will lose his job, even though there were a lot of witnesses to what happened, and there was nothing he could have done, and he isn't sure he can keep driving after having that happen anyway... )

I see people running across 495 around Largo MD quite often. There is no other way across unless you have a car (which they don't). They are going from the #### condos to the drug market off MLK, or heading back. A few times a year a couple of them get nailed by a car/truck/bus and the idiots on WTOP act all agast as if it's never happened before.
