Curious about their trailers, I've seen them with a refer up front and a belly generator or refer I assume. What's the purpose?

crb Thanks this. -
Pegasus runs 90% ford motor co auto parts loads on dry vans. Specialized divisions we have pull reefers but not many, most likely be pulling a van. I've been here 2 years and plan on retiring from here several years down the road. As far as companies go I've seen em good and bad and this is the best one I've ever been at!! Honest good people run the office stuff and they appreciate everything we do and they tell us that on a regular basis, I'll never leave!

Starting on Tuesday. Will update as time permits
Heavy_Load and tucker Thank this. -
This is obviously a very old post, but I suspect things are worse at Pegasus now. They were bought out by CRST last year, 2015. I've only worked there 2 months, or more accurately, I WORKED there for 2 months. Their policy is 'No Slip Seating for Road Drivers.' I went in tonight for a load that leaves out early in the morning. Was gonna sleep in the truck to avoid some early morning traffic. I knew where my truck WAS parked, but it was gone. It wasn't in the shop, and when I asked dispatch where my truck was, I was told it was on it's way to Nashville!! Maybe it thought I was with it?
There's too many other companies waiting in line to #### me over, don't wanna let just one have all the fun.

Of course your post was pre-CRST takeover, maybe that matters, not sure. -

I just found that out, after they said they wouldn't, unless you're off for an extended period. That period seems to be 2 days.Last edited: Aug 30, 2016

If you're OTR
Get along with Brent. He's the man with the golden balls
And Duane doing outbound loads is a nice guy and can take care of you.
If you get Jim Clem as a dm, good luck biting your tongue.
And learn how to sleep at ktp during the hours you sit there.
Try to get your truck parked anywhere but peg yard.
Good luck
