Told them I was done, but they wanted me to come over and talk with Brent and Jim. Unless they have a checkbook in the meeting, I don't see anything good coming out of it, except for the fact I won't work for CRST anymore.

The pastures are just as ugly on the other side of the fence.
But i don't live near Louisville so their lanes just don't work for me.
And I won't do teams, pharma, or blood.Heavy_Load Thanks this. -
Honestly, one of my biggest gripes is the shop. I've never been able to get anything fixed. I wrote up a defective ELD, it wasn't fixed. Scott found out about it and wanted it fixed. We both went to the shop and he wrote it up, still wasn't fixed. I told them I had written it up once, and was told, 'No,' it's never been written up. WTF?? Still wasn't fixed the second time. The third time Shannon, from safety (super nice lady) went with me. She said we'd wait for it to be swapped out. Lol Took about 3.5 minutes.
The first truck I had started throwing an error code. It seemed to be running fine, nothing visually wrong. I called the shop, gave them the code, and got, "Uh, yeah, I don't know what that is." I look it up, it's an emissions code (imagine that). Said the truck would derate to 85% for 1,000 miles. I was maybe 300 from the yard. I started to drive it. The thing dies on me TWICE on 75. Just about lost it getting off a ramp. It wasn't fixed. Did it a third time on 71, and I told them I couldn't work here. The truck was gonna get somebody killed. I got a new truck. Obviously, a good shop matters. -
The new hires are dicks.
Especially that fat redheaded kid
He needs a beat down
Brent will keep his word
He's a straight shooterHeavy_Load Thanks this. -
Yeah, the sleeper lights in this Freightliner turn on by themselves, and you can't turn them off (with the switches), then when they decide to turn off, you can't turn them back on. I'll be driving down the road at night, and all of a sudden, intense light!! It'll wake you up. I know there's no use writing it up. Guess I'll have to get another new truck to 'fix' that too. -
I thought it was only me with that problem
I pulled all my sleeper bulbs out three months before I quit and lived in the dark.
When I turned my truck in, I put the bulbs back in .
Maybe you got my truck
It was better than dealing with the shopHeavy_Load Thanks this.
