You weren't penalized for being honest, you were penalized for smoking pot a few months ago.

    Don't smoke pot, problem solved.

Why would you take pleasure in another’s misery? Pot is less harmful than alcohol.

Its going to depend on the employer. I think some companies don't care if you got one last week. If you are being hired by them this week, they will send you for a DOT Physical.
So, you need to check on that during your interview with the new company. Some require it, some may not.

Agree with most above....such is life. You need to differentiate when to be honest and when to bend the truth when needed to benefit you and your family. Stay strong brother!

No, I disagree a bit here... The here and now generations, the ones that been working in this Country of ours, and letting the politicians do what they please, their the problem. Also, the hear and now generation has not done a very good job of teaching the future adults of this world, have we. We have been getting trampled on for decades. I am 50 and I feel bad for what I haven't fought to change, I do my best now but it still is not enough.

As far as the "influx" you speak of, dead on but not 100%. We have good old American's in the White House corrupting this Country quite well.

I do feel sorry for the here and now,,,and the future.

You think that putting down you drink alcohol saves you from some liability? What’s your thinking? You get in an accident or a dui, they check your Med card files and say” hey this guy is ok, We checked his doctors files and he admitted he drinks”. Or , “how dare this guy be drunk behind the wheel, he clearly checked he didn’t drink alcohol on his form”
What you do in your OWN home legally is YOUR bussiness as long as it is legal doesn’t interfere with your job.
With that being said, what bussiness is it of the doctors office unless you have a medical condition

    201, Blackshack46 and Midnightrider909 Thank this.

So what? It's illegal, okay? If you can get the law changed...and it probably should be...more power to you.
Until then it's the law. Period.
