Maybe IP is practicing to become a trainer! I've got bad news for him though. I was supposed to go in to Springfield tomorrow to grab a student, and they don't have any! All the students from this weeks class got placed today, and they didn't have any left over. Asked about a trainee, and same answer, none available.

 

Good news for me though. No trainees sitting around means no FM breathing down my back wanting to know when I'm going to start training!

 

Problem for me though, this was the last week I knew I could pick up a student and get them into their own truck in time for me to make my trip to the Outer Banks this summer. So it looks like I may try and grab a decent trainee sometime in the next month.

 

Nah! I still need a good solution for the dead bodies!

 

They had one waiting for me in SLC the day I left Vegas after my mini-vaca...

Ok, but I already told them I needed to get thru Springfield and offload some of my crap to fit the guy.

FM responds that the guy travels lite and if I can squeeze him in the would get me straight thru.

So I left SLC with my new trainee, and load of ice cream... Passed the 90 at Walmart DC in Cheyenne and swapped it with some Washington apples and pears that are going to Louisianna and Florida. The other guy got to deliver the ice cream for me.

Should be in SPRIMO mid day. For a couple hours.

Trainee has experience in the oil fields in ND... He only has to do 20k miles to get the reefer experience, and paperwork/procedures down.

 

You're all over the country. I'm sure there's a few ditches you could toss them in.

 

Yeah, I could... but what if some hic's dog starts chewin' on it???
