Your season is over. Think of your future. Stay home.

Next year plan your vacation time on that season....

Believe it or not they will catch you for anything. I changed states and went to get my CDL changed over and I could not because I had a parking ticket in DC. I did not know about it because there was no ticket left and besides that we drove around and found a spot that was OK to park there on Sundays. It cost me almost $200 to fix. It would have cost a lot more if I would have fought it.

The truth is, in the Big truck truckin' industry any records involving theft usually wind up in their circular file stamped unacceptable. That the charges were pressed by a guy who is shady and does crooked business "under the table" could raise questions as to why you were involved with a character like that in the first place. In an industry where you're hauling cargo that could be worth mega-bucks, like electronics or cigarettes or booze that's relatively easy to fence, it sends up a red flag.

I see your point in that. But none the less it will be Thrown out!!! ... Myself not having REAL knowledge about what he does or what kind of character he is... blind sided me!! But had I known better about this guy I would have never dealt with him period!! The fact that I never had a single record in my LIFE will account for it and Im honest and not coward ... !!! So trust me buddy... I will not give up persureing what I want to do!!! Says who ...anyway!!! True enough me and that dumb ### could have settled things like men ...but what do expect from a coward or scum bag!!! Thanks anyway buddy!!! For the encouragement!!

And to add my friend... " you never judge a book by its cover" in this case like I said I can't just assume he was crooked or a scumbag... just like I could say your a racist #######...but you may be the nicest person in the world... we all go thru that one situation in life and this was mines... but I will and shall not worry over now...simply because I have a chance and I talk with some people already. Glad to know you see things one sided but trust me ..."Faith and Prayer goes a long way out here!!! GOD ALMIGHTY bless!!

I couldn't agree with you more, --- but I would if I could.
Either that or you could have just assumed he wasn't crooked or a scumbag.
Sometimes it's not so much what, in fact, actually transpired,--- but rather what one perceives to have actually occurred, often not factual, many times not fair.
You could say a lot of things about me --- if you knew those things to be true. But I don't think you're a liar, so there'd be no reason for you to refer to me as a racist #######... And I'd disagree with anyone who considers me to be the nicest person in the world.
HaiL! I'm not even nice to myself.
Well, not everyone. There are those who seem to manage to learn from the mistakes of others, thereby avoiding the hands-on experiences that, dare I say, most of us have.
I've heard that a mistake is only a mistake if we didn't learn anything from the experience. I guess that's because it turned out to be a lesson, (in disguise?)
    Ya reckon.
Nor should you worry. The time and energy wasted on worry thinking could be better invested by solution thinking.
Why would you be, "Glad to know ( I ) see things one sided", especially IF that was true?
    And, ...............
Wouldn't that be an assumption on your part?
On closer examination, chances are you'd know that what you see is hieroglyphics on a contrasting background arranged to be translated void of any sugar-candy-coating, too often applied to mask an otherwise unpleasant taste lingering in the background.
Although sometimes bitter tasting and hard to swallow, still, --- it is what it is and it's called unfiltered truth.

I do, because I can, see both sides of this one.
    How?
    Why?
Because I've been there, done that, and now I'm writin' the book about it.
I've already Experienced the Experience that you're experiencing now.
    And, .......
Against all odds, through Faith and Prayer, the odds turned out to be favorable and in my favor.
More than once, doors opened before I knew to knock.
    Go figure.

The Big truck truck drivin' school I attended informed me right up front that with the records baggage attached to my life story, it was quite unlikely that most companies worth drivin' for would ever consider hiring me.
That made me think about it again, ....... before asking asking if they'd accept cash for tuition.
    They did.
    I did.
I had a feeling things would turn out positive so I didn't spend time worrying, what if? :biggrin_25512:

If you're not already aware, the hiring of Big truck truck drivers is heavily dictated by the insurance companies as to who is and who ain't gettin' a ride. Insurance companies exist to realize profit and rely on statistics to make policy. Judging a book by it's cover, --- perfect example.
That the insurance companies consider a record for any kind of theft to be more serious than an assault charge and conviction isn't an exaggeration.
    :biggrin_25513:
I'm not saying impossible to overcome.
Just making aware of how what it really is,........ really is.

And I wish for you the best of success in whatever you decide to do. :yes2557:

    YuP.
    Yup!
    It's been said that:
    Virtue Is
    Doing the right thing,
    Even, and perhaps Especially
    When NoOne is looking.

    Same here.
Some who drive Big trucks will opine that it's a lifestyle that goes along with the career choice that many find difficult to accept. The more one resists making the necessary adjustments the more frustrating the experience can be. Not everyone is cut out to put up with Big truck truckin', --- and there's no shame in that whatsoever. Hopefully one can realize that fact before it causes a stressful, negative attitude. The better one can be flexible and accept changes, both expected as well as unexpected, and take them in stride having learned how to anticipate possibilities and have in mind a plan B, just in case, the more enjoyable Big truck truckin' can/will be. The right frame of mind makes a whole buncha difference.

A word of warning though, --- after years of runnin' the highways and byways from sea to shining sea and all across the fruited plane for a few years, --- when the day comes that you turn in your drivin' gloves and hang up your drivin' boots, don't expect Big truck truckin' to be out of your system. It'll likely take years for that to happen, but it'll never be totally gone. After all, with over a million mile-markes collected in one's back pocket over the road, over the years, --- gettin' over all that takes even more years to do than it does to collect. And some of the worst experiences during that time will become your best over-the-road truckin' stories to captivate those who listen.

    SideBar:
    What's The Difference
Between a fairy tale and a
    Big truck trucker story?
    Well, ....
    A fairy tale starts out
    Once Upon A Time.
    And, ....
    A Big truck trucker story
    Starts out, ....
Y'all Ain't Gonna Believe This She It.

    ThanX!
Wouldn't have it any other way.

    Attitude
    Is a lot like electricity.
    Hook positive to positive
    and
    Negative to negative
    For Positive results.
    Because
If positive is hooked to negative
The results will not be positive,
    Unless,
Your intended goal is to destroy
    The source of electricity.
