People can't hear me

    Brand new western star that came with fiberglass antenna's that came with a standard cobra 25..I swapped it out for my galaxy 33hp2. When I key up swr meter is less than 1 but when I talk into the mic,it won't swing. However when I switch to TalkBack it swings like every video on YouTube I see and I sound great but only on high power level,l..med and low dont move at all .
    'm a rookie at cb stuff what am.I doing wrong or what should I do

    put an external SWR meter on it or better yet get someone with an antenna analyzer to check the antenna out.

    I have a uniden bearcat 880 and I installed it last week and got a tram antenna with 4" magnetic base put on the top of my truck, just had it tuned and found a decent area to calibrate antenna, and been trying to radio check for over an hour and it seems that they still cant hear me but I can hear them, what else can I do?

    Can you find someone who is willing to test your radio by situating hisher self a mile or so away to see if you can communicate? You may not be sending out a signal.
