    Lol this post sounds like.youre trying to talk yourself into doing lease purchase. Honestly, I've only seen one company in which it could work, and that's P&S Transportation. I had a buddy that did lease there. If he were willing to actually be a truck driver, he'd of made hella money. He got some really good rates on loads but he wanted to run home every week so very seldom would he leave the running lanes between Atlanta and Dallas. Never wanted to.leave the south. That company had the freight, just their drivers didn't always have the drive.

    I couldn't have put it better. Many of the other lease operators fall into that trap as well. They think it's all good since they don't have to deal with forced dispatch. That may be true, but once he starts working for himself, it's about moreso the market that tells you what to do. He loves to run the south, but so do thousands of other drivers.
