Post number 3 on the blue truck....

I'm running a Wilson 2k right now with a 22 inch shaft....SWR still sucks.
Seriously thinking of making a mount for the passenger door that fits the 2 bolts in the spot mirror..
It would have to be better than the low mount on the drivers side.. -
Just take your existing mount and have two 5/16" holes drilled into it 4 inches apart.
And put the original 10 inch shaft back in between the load and your new 22" shaft like I mentioned before. 32" will work well.rabbiporkchop and EZ Money Thank this. -
Currently running this mount...it is so-so I guess...
The 32 inch was too wobbly with this mount but the 22 is ok.
I have some flat stock steel I could fab up a better mount with for the mirror bolts..Or buy the other shaft style mount and drill it out.

I don't like that mount, you can't get the antenna away from the door. Get/order a regular stainless one from Bob's CB and mount the antenna as close to the mirror as you can get it. The mirror does not affect SWR, but the door does.
Long SS shafts will be wobbly no matter what, but if my Frankenstein with a 54" of shaft did fine driving straight into 35 sustained/45 gusting winds all day a while back, you'll be perfectly fine with 32. the Wilson load is lighter than my oil-filled load.rabbiporkchop and mike5511 Thank this. -
Glad I figured this out a long time ago......but now we're buying T680s!
rabbiporkchop Thanks this. -
