Then I'd be spending my forced-down time to look around for a new driving job. Just in case.

Yeah because waiting a couple hours is worth giving up a 100k a year job:rolleyes:

I've never made 100K a year driving trucks as a company driver. And if those jobs are common, then I can quit one making 100K and sidestep over into another one making 100K a year. Where the hell are these 100K a year company driving jobs? I'm kind of new to the 'new' trucking world, the 14-hour world.

Walmart. Hence being posted in the Walmart company area.

The jobs are not common. Kinda why it would be stupid to quit over a couple hours. Don't get me wrong I hate it. And of my truck needs anything like lighter plugs, or squeaking cabinets that is a good time to be in the shop. But in the over all scheme even with being down a couple hours a driver will make money here.

It is a different world here. And starting out you will be an extra board guy. That means driving others trucks,

You're going to work weekends. But will be off 2 stays a week until we get busy. Then it will be 6 days.

Lots of info about them here good and bad.
