48 DC hiring for multiple positions on website today.
I have had unimaginable downtime over the last 2weeks, waiting for backhauls and seeing 117 dedicated at my home terminal.

It's not only effecting me, but as a company how can we afford it? Also paying $120k plus a day for just one dc to have inefficient outside carriers run 1 load then shutdown, and tie up the phone lines calling in and swamping the coordinators.

And this people net/optimizer system always being down and inefficient. Something to seriously consider ladies and gentlemen.

 

We were told the extra help had a contract until August to get a price break.

The PNET issues need to have someone's head on a chopping block. I was down $500 this check because of the issues during the last two weeks. I can only imagine what is has cost us as a company.

 

Maybe the hatchet man?

 

In fairness this was in the works before he ever showed up. When I started 4 years ago we were hearing about the great new tablet we would have that spring

Still waiting for it to show up.

The optimizer roll out was a giant fiasco as well. Due to PTSFD (post traumatic stress from dispatch) I have blocked most of those memories

 

I 100 percent agree...btw, what is the treatment for PTSFD...I GOT IT BADDDDDDDD...

 

I’ve been sitting at 8232 for 2 hours now: calling in every 15 mins for a run..... ugh... Lola doesn’t mind...
I know a lot of you guys don’t like us dedicated and think we aren’t doing our part; but; I try... Sat at Gas City yesterday waiting for dispatch on a load for 4 hours... then; went empty to Plainfield: Morton Salt: sat for liveload 4 hours there... I’m trying...

 

Contracts for dedicated vary... Some are for a few months at a time; others are 6-12 months... it all depends on location and price; I suppose...
