So were they actually making their payments in full and on-time? Or is this just a case of all the undercutting in the trucking industry finally catching up to companies?
-
I don’t blame rbc one bit. Typical piece of #### owners who ran it into the ground. You hide and divert assets, and your surprised when they call the loan??? Typical.
Magoo1968, BigHossVolvo, '88K100 and 1 other person Thank this. -
This happened about a month ago. I am sure they’ve all been scooped up already by the next up-and-coming public enemy.BigHossVolvo Thanks this.

The people xpress guy r not going out of buisness. Smart guys. They may have shut down the corporate company called people xpress. But they have another company called altalink logistics , their just gonna operate under that name
Canadianhauler21 and BigHossVolvo Thank this. -
Most trucking companies running their plates have two companies - assets and licensing...so if one goes under the other is ready to move...
eg. with the Humboldt accident the guys had his lic revoked - but his assets were under another company and so he was still runningCanadianhauler21 and BigHossVolvo Thank this. -
I Live not far from the PE yard on Metis Trail in Calgary, as stated above, they're already re-branding everything to Altalink, and their Driving School "People Driving" is already running around the NE/Freeport esp, 10 hours a day.
Canada is a joke.dancecanyon, Magoo1968, Canadianhauler21 and 2 others Thank this. -
Same thing happens in the states. Take Celadon. If I remember correctly there was some where around 12 or 13 different entities under the Celadon corporation, not all were trucking companies and I'm not talking companies they bought. I'm talking active company names.
-
Sure, but Celadon haven’t committed mass murder either.
