    Its pretty average for around here actually wages tend to be lower here in SC. its also better than the other two interviews I had lined up were paying. Worth it to me to not be doing OTR anymore.

    I kind of agree with street beater. If it's good for you, and you can make it work that's all the matters, but it sounds pretty low for the job. Maybe the wage jumps after you make it thru your 90 day probation?

    But like I said, if it works for you that's all the matters. Also, keep in mind, guys kind of tend to exaggerate the work load. Yes, it's much more work than OTR and other trucking jobs, but it's not that bad. We have guys retire every year. We also have guys that can't do it anymore and they move to another position to finish out their 30 years and walk away fully vested. It's a career and you'll have other job opportunities with them. It's worth a shot

    It seems like a good thing so far, and yeah that's starting pay it may go up from there...something I should have asked but oh well
