It was the same deal when I was at US Foods. Most delivery drivers didn’t want anything to do with running shuttles. Slightly lower pay rate, less OT, permanently working overnight. The ultimate goal was the out of town 2 day routes or running backhauls.

That’s almost certainly the reason that a global multimillion dollar company that sells heavy cases of sugar water decided to let you go.

Probably automatically denied because you didn’t meet the requirements of that particular job posting (six months driving or three months food/beverage delivery).

Sounds like someone mad at everybody except the person responsible. Whats a UBolt. Oh your asking for a UBoat, hmm maybe asking for the wrong thing did help much. Whole Foods had them in there stores when I delivered for them, but mostly dedicated to certain vendors. I did unload for them, just back into the dock let them take it off. I'm a driver not a lumper. By the way I don't unload or load for Pepsi either. as far as working the overnight, I prefer it, the noob's are fast asleep at the truck stops, most of the night drivers are easy to deal with, less traffic. Would have it any other way.

In Philly? They’re struggling for drivers/ like everyone in the soda industry. Guaranteed work. They have their orders all picked for them so they just wheel the orders in with a Jack and scan them. Some handtruck work, but nothing like with the old side loaders
