Pepsi Trucks Automatic or 10 Speed?

    what he said on top of it frito lays bulk is drop and leave no checking items the merchandiser does it themselves youll love the 20 hour work weeks for a stack

    One of the things I will not do is get into a truck with no ac. and then be expected to lump stuff all day

    Sideloaders usually don't even have AC. Very rarely you'll stumble across one that does, but it's not the norm

    Pepsi Twinsburg,Ohio has a very large fleet of very old side loaders they probably have tractors that are at least 17 years old.

    Im looking at applying at pepsi with what they call geo box trucks. Are THESE all autoshifts now? Im 53, and honestly..i loved my autoshifts once i actually tried one. I would drive a 13 sp again

    I had to walk away from soda after 15yrs and go to LTL linehaul.. we had all 7 speeds in our single axles and a 10sp in the ancient twin screw we used for bulk..
    I don’t miss the work but I do miss some of the customers I delivered to for years. Many of them ended up being really close friends.

    Yes. Pepsi locations are not buying standard transmissions any more, not for the delivery side at least...
