If you interview well, you could get on with FedEx Freight as a Driver Apprentice.

 

Yeah JMZ is right fedex freight is probably the best move coming from someone who is headed out the door of fedex express.

 

@Roadrunner94 - Currently I'm in NY working on my CDL. But might end up relocating to the Southeast region of Florida ideally after finalizing my CDL. Of topic I didn't realize the scarcity with companies hiring new recruits. And to make matters worst the area I will be staying in Florida seems to lack Terminals with OTR carriers except for FedEx & UPS cause there based out of the local airport it seems.

 

@jmz -Thanks for the suggestion. Are these apprentice role for CDL drivers listed on the opportunity/Opening listings via the FedEx portal? I've done general searches prior and came up empty figured it was due to FedEx keeping in internal as per Roadrunner statement.
