I get paid per diem, owe something like 13k in credit card debt that I just stopped paying on and has gone to collections and capital finance still qualified me for a car loan at a decent interest rate. I was shocked lol!

how does per diem work, new driver here, so if I get 40cpm then there is an addition cpm for per diem. The company I am going to makes it mandatory for the first 90 days

I can see where it might be beneficial to someone who doesn't itemize as long as it's not in lieu of normal pay. Don't tell me I'm getting 40 cpm if half of it is per diem. Per diem is a benefit given by the government to workers who are required to be away from home to do their job. You should get 40 cpm or whatever rate they pay PLUS a daily rate of per diem...........I doubt that's what most of the company owners have in mind when they do it.....I'm thinking it's more like the guy at the carnival midway.
