These guys are hard core.
Doing their laundry beside their trucks, hanging the clothes out to dry during down time.
And the roads. Completely insane. Switch back mountain roads from hell in southern Austria and northern Italy. Log haulers in the NW area of the US haven’t seen squat.
Speed limits that would have me falling asleep at the wheel. The max I saw in Italy for trucks, was 100 kph on a 6 lane highway. Most were 80 kph.
The EU has a very diverse driving population, speaking 5 or more languages. Maybe more. Not saying they spoke 5, just saying you could hear at least that many.
Truck stops? No more than service plaza exits on major highways.
